Xero Shoes Ipari Hana - Casual Comfort

The aqua cloud is a fantastic barefoot sandal with the added bonus of being designed as a water sport sandal. It’s similar to the original and iconic cloud sandal, but with special upgraded features to make it perfect for the water.

It has a new, more durable rubber sole with a better grip. And the special barefoot foam has been extended through the heel for added comfort.

These barefoot sandals for women and men have all the crucial barefoot features that enable your feet to bend and flex like feet like to do and they help contribute towards better natural movement.

The aqua clouds are super thin and flexible, so you get the real barefoot feel. I love walking along and feeling stones underfoot, yet knowing my feet have just the right level of protection. They’re also perfect for protecting my feet from the scalding hot sand.

Not only can you roll them up because they’re so thin and flexible, but they’re also extremely lightweight. For example, the aqua cloud women’s size 7 weighs only 4.4 ounces for each barefoot sandal. And, of course, like all Xero Shoes and sandals, they’re a zero-drop sandal with a wide toe box to allow your feet to spread.

What I use the aqua cloud barefoot sandal for

The aqua cloud is my current everyday summer sandal and is ideal for beach life here in Southern Turkey. I love the look, and they go great with a dress, skirt, or shorts.

I wear these out and about everywhere. I’ve taken them for little hill walks, along the beach, across rocky surfaces, and on the slackline.

They have been excellent in every situation, except when I wore them in a river with currents where it was muddy underfoot. They weren’t quite secure enough on my feet, and they’re just so flexible that the current was curving the front of the sandal under my foot. I’m glad I didn’t lose them because I love them for everything else!

(By the way, my daughter wore her z-trails in the same river, and they stayed on just fine).

I’d highly recommend the aqua cloud as functional mens and womens barefoot sandals that are fab for wearing in and around the water (or anywhere else!)

If you’re looking for the best minimalist sandals for barefoot performance, try the aqua cloud.
